  • Is local pickup available?
    • Yes! We currently offer local pickup in the Cookeville/Jamestown area of Tennessee. We also offer pickup at any reptile expo that we are scheduled to attend. Local pickup an option for most items when checking out on the website; if you don't see that option, please contact us.
  • When will my order ship?
    • Dry goods orders will ship within the next 3 business days. Live animal orders will not ship until we are in contact with the purchaser and can organize a shipping date. See terms for more info.
  • Do you ship animals via USPS?
    • Shipping venomous animals (all spiders, scorpions, and centipedes) via USPS is illegal and therefore we only ship via FedEx. Non-venomous bugs (whipspiders, isopods, roaches, etc) may be safely and legally shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express, which will be an option at checkout.
  • Do you handle your spiders?
    • As a general rule we do not handle our spiders, as we feel that this causes more stress to the animals than benefits to the human. You are more than welcome to handle your spiders after you receive them, although we do not recommend it. We cannot claim any responsibility for injuries that occur to the handler or the spider during or after handling.
  • What are the animals eating?
    • We feed our arachnids appropriately-sized prey items for their relative legspan, which includes melanogaster and hydei fruit flies, 1/8"-1" crickets, and dubia roaches of all sizes.
  • Are your animals wild-caught or captive-bred?
    • All of the animals currently available on our website are captive-bred, as will be indicated in each product description.
  • Do you have a full list of what you're bringing to the next show?
    • Our show haul changes very often, so it's best to contact us with any specific requests for us to bring to the next show.
  • Are you attending an expo in my area?
    • You can view our full schedule of expos on our trade shows page. Check back often, as this is updated regularly! If you'd like to make a suggestion on where to go next, feel free to send us a message!
  • My order says 'cannot ship to your address'. What do I do?
    • This happens sometimes when a product is in stock for local pickup and out of stock for shipping; please contact us and we can work something out!
  • Why is shipping so expensive?
    • FedEx Priority Overnight is typically $40-$75 no matter where you go to shop; sometimes our website will incorrectly calculate shipping at checkout - if the shipping estimate seems abnormally high, please contact us to see if we can correct it and save you some money!
  • Do you ship to Germany/Canada/internationally?
    • No, international shipping is not available at this time due to the cost and logistics necessary for legal exportation.
